4More – Video Management

New independent video management modul

The modul offers additional OpenMedia functionality for video management. The ingest of video material from multiple sources – be it scheduled or ad hoc-is possible as is the browsing and navigation of video files already ingested. Journalists are therefore empowered to research relevant video information for their story by themselves. In addition a journalist can segment and enrich the material with additional information/ video/ audio as well as add voice over. All video and related information is made available through the network, providing access to everyone with appropriate rights.

As soon as an OpenMedia Rundown is ready for broadcast, it can be put "OnAir". With this step all relevant information for video is handed over to the Playout module, which then controls the playout via the video server.
