OpenMedia goes mobile

NAB is always a great indicator of what's trending in broadcast technology, and this year one of the questions most frequently asked at the ANNOVA stand was "Where is the mobile version of OpenMedia?"

More than just a trend, a mobile newsroom application would enable journalists to stay in touch regardless of location, working as needed and able to relax when possible.

The ANNOVA Systems development team was quick to respond to the challenge of offering journalists a flexible, portable tool and at NAB 2011 our iPhone and iPad app were launched.

Our modular approach meant that we were able to select the features that would work in this environment. Agency wires, assignment planning and story centric searching are all available through the touch screen.

The application is currently available for iPhone and iPad - but don't worry if your environment is Android - we will work on it as well.
